We swim at the Hec Edmundson Pavilion Pool, “The Pav,” at the University of Washington. Click here for the map.
Parking at UW is notoriously difficult and expensive. If you need to drive to practice, here are some suggestions:
Park south of Husky Stadium in the Montlake neighborhood and walk to the pool (~10min).
Pay $3/hour at metered spots in front of the IMA or in Lot E8.
Pay by the day in Lot E1.
If you stop by a UW Parking Gatehouse and ask for an E9 permit, you can purchase one for $5 after 5pm on most weekdays.
Beware of athletic and other events at UW that charge higher rates for parking. Always scan the UW athletic events calendar as well as the UW Transportation Services parking calendar before attempting to park on campus.
Several buses stop very close to the pool at the UW Medical Center or at Husky Stadium; the UW light rail stop is also very close to the pool.
You can bike to the pool and park your bike outside of the pool on racks (bikes are not allowed in the building).
Enter and exit the pool through the sliding barn doors located at the east side of the building.
